Recycled classics
After travelling to different parts of the world, Polly started to think about how she could use some of the recycling ideas she had discussed with the children who lived in the countries she had visited. ‘Recycled Classics’ challenges schools to perform a play based on a classic children’s story using props and costumes made from recycled materials. Stories available are The Iron Man by Ted Hughes using recycled metal, Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl using recycled paper and cardboard boxes, and ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ by Roald Dahl using recycled plastic. |
